US Responds to Pakistan Terror Attack and Afghan Refugee Crisis
The US has offered condolences to Pakistan after a deadly terror attack and also raised concerns about the Afghan refugee’s resettlement.
Condemnation of Terrorist Attack and Commitment to Cooperation
The Latest statement by the US where they strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pakistan, acknowledging that nation suffers a lot due to these attacks. The US conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of victims and once again assured Pakistan that the US will keep working with Pakistan to eliminate terrorist groups from the region.
Addressing Concerns Over Afghan Refugee Resettlement
The US government has confirmed that it is in contact with Pakistan for the safe return and settlement of people. Both countries know very well that they need to manage the resettlement process in a safe and efficient manner. The Unites States assured that they will continue to talk over concerns or issues raised by Pakistan.
Upholding Non-Return Advisory for Afghanistan
The US also stressed supporting Afghanistan’s neighboring countries particularly Pakistan to not violate non-return advisory issue due to the critical situation in the country. Giving priority to work with international humanitarian organizations, to provide necessary help and support through essential supplies of life to the affected people.
