Election Commission Raises Objections to Tehrik-e-Insaf’s Intraparty Elections

For the third time, the Election Commission has raised objections to the new intraparty elections of Tehrik-e-Insaf. According to the notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan on 30th April directed Tehrik-e-Insaf to respond to their objections.

 Election Commission’s Actions

This is the third time the Election Commission has raised objections to Tehrik-e-Insaf’s intraparty elections. The objections were raised due to new procedures for intraparty polls introduced by Tehrik-e-Insaf. PTI officials have been summoned by the Political Finance Wing of the Election Commission on 30th April.

Earlier, PTI has also presented details related to their intra party elections to the Election Commission. On 4th March. However, they received an objection during Tehrik-e-Insaf’s second round of the intra-party elections as well.

PTI will face difficulty in following election rules and fulfilling legal obligations because Election Commission is constantly watching and objecting.
