First Major Resignation as Investment Board Chairman Quits Amidst Azad Kashmir Crisis
Amjad Jalil, Chairman of the Board of Investment Azad Jammu and Kashmir has resigned from his post. He is attributing the deteriorating situation in Azad Kashmir as the reason for leaving his position due to which he is the first prominent official who resigns during this public outrage over electricity price hike.
In his response, Jalil put the blame on Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq, he said that PM is deliberately provoking a clash between the common public and police force. He also shared a sad story of prosperous regions turning into a complete waste due to ineffective and harmful leadership. Jalil was very pessimistic about the situation there, He termed the situation as “festival of bloodshed”.
