Bushra Bibi Granted Transfer to Adiala Jail

There is a new development in Bushra Bibi’s case. The court has approved her request to move from Bani Gala sub-jail to Adiala Jail. The decision came after a long legal battle of almost 2-3 months, hearings started back in January.

Bani Gala Sub-Jail Declared Illegal

The sub-jail, established in Bani Gala through a notification was declared illegal by the court. The notification issued by the Chief Commissioner was found to be illegal and on its basis, the court ordered the immediate transfer of Bushra Bibi to Adiala Jail.

Bushra Bibi’s Plea for Transfer

As a result of the January ruling and the formation of a sub-jail at her residence, Bushra Bibi filed a transfer plea to Adiala Jail. After hearing all the arguments and evidences, the court ruled in her favor allowing her transfer request.
