Larkana Board Exams Marred by Cheating as Officials Fail to Act

Jacobabad, Pakistan – Students who are giving exams of 9th and 10th from Larkana Board in the Jacobabad district have been cheating boldly for 3 days straight. This is very alarming for the examination process integrity.

Even though the Larkana Board has set up 20 examination centers in the district, but their vigilance team is completely absent. They have not bothered to stop the cheating and take any action. The local administration after this press conference of Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Mukhtiarkar did not visit a single center in order to enforce exam regulations.

Rampant Mobile Phone Use

As per the reports, students were using mobile phones openly inside the examination halls to access information and do another kind of cheating during the exam This open violation of exam rules has raised serious questions about the Larkana Board administration.

Lack of Action by Authorities

Due to the inaction of the vigilance team or local administration, students openly cheating thinking that if no one is stopping them then they all are not guilty. This is not only undermining the worth of the exams but also putting honest students at a disadvantage who are trying to compete on their own.

Larkana board and the local administration need to take immediate action on this matter. have to ensure the transparent and fair conduct of exams. This includes sending vigilance teams to every exam center, confiscating mobile phones, and taking action against those students who break the rules during exams. If they still do not take action it will not only damage the credibility of the education system but also put the future of thousands of students at stake in Larkana.
